Help Shape SAFA’s Next Term
SAFA is now accepting applications for open 2026-2028 positions on the Table of Officers, Executive Council, and Academic Council. Members who would like to know more about what these positions involve are encouraged to contact one of the current SAFA Officers for more information.
This is an important time to get involved. SAIT continues to move through significant organizational change, and strong member representation helps ensure that faculty voices are part of the discussions that affect our working conditions and our students. SAFA relies on member representatives from across the institution to bring forward local concerns, share information, and help identify issues before they become bigger problems.
All full-time and part-time SAFA members in good standing are eligible to apply. Interested members should review the email sent May 21st that included the position descriptions, the Terms of Reference documents, and the nomination forms for these positions. Applications are due to the SAFA Office by email at [email protected] by 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
