Introducing Teela Kowalchuk
SAFA Position: Division III Table Officer

Hi everyone, I’m Teela Kowalchuk, and I have been working as a SAIT Instructor since 2015.
Although I’ve held a variety of positions within SAFA for nearly a decade, I’m thrilled to be joining the Table of Officers for the first time as a Div III rep, and look forward to fortifying relationships with members, listening to your ideas, and helping support the important work of SAFA.
Grievance Update
Filing grievances is one of the most effective ways SAFA ensures that members’ rights and working conditions are protected. By addressing these issues, we hold the employer accountable and set precedents that protect all members from similar challenges in the future.
