SAFA Elections 2018
SAFA Election Date – Thursday, May 3, 2018
We are looking for people for the 2018/2020 Academic years. The positions available are:
SAFA Executive: Term – July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020
- SAFA President
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Two Representatives in each of the following: Division I, Division II and Division III for a two-year Term, and one Representative in Division IV
Academic Council – Term – September 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020
- Representative(s) for each of these Divisions– Division I (one Rep.), Division II (two Reps.), Division III (two Reps.), and Division IV( one Rep.)
Faculty Council – Term – September 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020
- SAFA is in need of One Representative plus One Alternate for each Department (Not Division).
Board of Governors— One Board of Governor Representative:
- 1 position for a Two year term – July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020
Health & Safety Environment Council – Term – July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2020
- SAFA requires three Representatives
You can drop by the SAFA Office (Senator Burns NN201) and pick up your nomination form.
The forms have to be filled out and returned to the SAFA Office by:
Thursday, March 29 at 4:00 P.M. We also have copies of the Election notice if you require a hard copy.
Just a Reminder :
Division I consists of — Construction, Manufacturing & Automation, and Transportation.
Division II consists of — Information & Communications Technologies, Energy
Division III consists of — Academic Services, Business, Hospitality & Tourism, Health & Public Safety
Division IV consists of – Librarians, Educational Counsellors, Learner Services
